Vaccination UK is recruiting for a clinical vaccinator to deliver school-based immunisations across sites in Bedfordshire. You will work within a small team to administer IM and nasal vaccines, maintain records, and participate in clinical supervision.

The role requires active registration (NMC/GPhC/HCPC), immunisation experience, and the ability to obtain verbal parental consent. NHS England commissions support and travel between sites, with a bank contract and 3-month duration.

Qualifications

• Registered professional must be actively registered with their governing body (NMC, GPhC or HCPC).
• Understanding the Routine National Immunisation schedule and consent processes.
• Vaccination techniques including IM injections and nasal vaccines where applicable.

Responsabilités

• Travel to multiple sites delivering on-site immunisations.
• Administer vaccines to meet hourly targets and ensure proper record-keeping.
• Obtain verbal consent from parents/guardians and triage consent forms.
• Report and learn from clinical incidents, safeguarding concerns and audits.
• Maintain professionalism when representing Vaccination UK at schools.
