Job summary

Vaccination UK is seeking a registered healthcare professional to lead school-age immunisations across Central Bedfordshire and surrounding sites. You will administer IM and nasal vaccines, manage consent processes, and contribute to safeguarding and record-keeping.

Role requires travel to multiple sites, collaboration with the team, and commitment to evidence-based practice within a regulated NHS-aligned framework.

Qualifications

• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Understanding of the Routine National Immunisation schedule.
• Understands and implements the principles of informed consent.
• Computer literate.
• Understanding the Cold Chain Policy

Responsibilities

• Travel to various sites as needed, working within a small team of vaccinators.
• Administer vaccinations efficiently to meet targets (IM and nasal).
• Triage consent forms and contact parents/guardians as needed.
• Address clinical enquiries from parents/guardians and staff within your scope.
• Maintain records in line with policy and guidelines.
