Job summary

The Independent Schools Council is seeking a highly organised HR Officer to support the Trust’s people and HR functions across three schools. You will manage recruitment and safer recruitment, maintain personnel records, and provide guidance on HR policies.

You will also support managers with employee relations and help foster a positive, inclusive working environment. A CIPD Level 3 qualification is required, with Level 5 desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum CIPD Level 3 qualification; Level 5 desirable.
• Experience in a school or educational setting.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills; attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Support full employee lifecycle and HR processes across three schools.
• Manage recruitment and safer recruitment processes.
• Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure employment documents are completed promptly.
• Provide advice on HR policies and employee relations matters.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive working environment.
