Job summary

A leading secondary school in Warwickshire is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join its professional support team from September 2026. The role covers the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, staff wellbeing and HR compliance.

You'll work with senior leaders and line managers, providing practical HR support while helping to maintain effective processes across the school.

Qualifications

• Experience of UK employment practices and working with staff at all levels.
• Knowledge of Safer Recruitment and the Single Central Record preferred.
• Strong communication, discretion and good judgement essential.

Responsibilities

• Managing recruitment and onboarding processes
• Overseeing safer recruitment and pre-employment checks
• Maintaining accurate employee records and the Single Central Record
• Advising managers on HR policies and procedures
• Supporting absence, performance and employee relations matters
• Liaising with payroll regarding starters, leavers and contractual changes
• Preparing HR reports and workforce information
• Supporting staff wellbeing and employee engagement
• Maintaining HR policies and documentation
• Ensuring HR processes remain compliant with current legislation
