Job summary

Leicester Grammar School is seeking a part-time Health Care Assistant to join our medical team at the Senior School. You will work alongside the School Nurses to provide high-quality nursing care and first aid to pupils and staff, and support the medical suite with administrative duties.

The post is 20 hours per week during term-time (35 weeks per year), with some flexibility across the week. A safeguarding background is desirable and enhanced safeguarding training will be expected.

Qualifications

• Safeguarding knowledge is desirable and enhanced safeguarding training is expected.
• Able to perform administrative and clerical duties and maintain pupil medical records.
• Experience in first aid and medicines administration per Trust policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and administer medicines in line with Trust policies.
• Support medical suite operations and handle administrative tasks.
• Maintain accurate pupil medical records and assist with day-to-day tasks in the medical room.
