Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated First Aider on a fixed term basis to support student health and safety across the academy. The role involves providing First Aid, assessing student well-being and coordinating with safeguarding staff.

The post requires DBS clearance and a commitment to safeguarding, with duties including maintaining the First Aid room and reporting concerns. Term-time plus one week, 37 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Qualified First Aider with willingness to undergo training as required.
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills for interacting with students, staff and visitors.

Responsabilités

• Provide First Aid cover when on duty.
• Assist in the general health and well-being of all students.
• Identify students showing evidence of abuse/neglect and report to the Safeguarding Manager.
• Ensure the First Aid room is maintained in good order.
