An established independent day school is seeking a reliable and proactive Gate Porter to enhance their Caretaking team. School Gate Porter
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £16,563 per annum, pro rata (based on £24,237 FTE)
Hours: Term-time only (35 weeks/year), Monday to Friday, 15:00–22:00 (32.5 hours/week)

The Role
A new opportunity has arisen at The School for a reliable and proactive person to join their Caretaking team as an ‘after hours’ Gate Porter. The successful candidate will provide professional and welcoming assistance to visitors while overseeing the security and safety of the school environment, with a strong focus on controlling access to the premises. As the first point of contact for visitors, the Gate Porter ensures that all individuals entering the school are authorised and follow proper procedures.
