Job summary

The Olympus Academy Trust – Winterbourne Academy is seeking a part-time First Aider to join the on-site team. The post is term-time only (39 weeks) with 13 hours across Monday and Tuesday, shared with a job-share partner.

You will act as the first aid contact, care for unwell or injured students, decide on action within your first aid certificate, and maintain records. Occasional reception cover may be required.

Qualifications

• Part-time, term-time only (39 weeks).
• Two days per week, Monday and Tuesday.
• Job-share arrangement with partner.
• Record-keeping and reporting for statutory purposes.
• Flexibility to cover main reception desk when needed.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first aid contact at the academy.
• Oversee care of students who are unwell or injured.
• Decide on appropriate course of action within certificate scope.
• Maintain records and reports for statutory purposes.
