Qualifications

  • Experience processing invoices, payments and reconciliations.

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Experience in a school/education environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day financial administration, including invoices, purchase orders, payments and income.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure transactions are processed correctly.
  • Support budget monitoring and provide financial information to the Headteacher and SLT.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Process staff expenses, payments and other financial documentation.
  • Liaise with suppliers and external organisations regarding invoices and payments.
  • Assist with financial reporting, audits and year-end procedures.
  • Ensure financial procedures comply with school policies and regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Provide general administrative support to the school business function when required.
