Pinnacle Group Limited is seeking an experienced School Caretaker for Beechwood School in Slough. Join our Facilities Management team to ensure buildings are well-maintained, secure, and fully functional, with a strong focus on health and safety compliance.

The role operates on full-time hours with alternating shifts (6:30 AM–2:30 PM or 10:30 AM–6:30 PM, Monday–Friday). We value proactive problem-solving and a pride in creating safe, welcoming learning environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in school caretaking or facilities maintenance.
• Proactive with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow health & safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day caretaking duties according to the daily schedule and repairs logged on the Help Desk or reported by Site Manager.
• Carry out daily litter picking of school grounds, emptying external bins and sweeping external areas.
• Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks per school schedule (e.g., weekly fire alarm tests, door and extinguisher checks).
• Respond to emergencies such as floods or spills and arrange rectifications per procedures and timescales.
• Carry out minor repairs and decoration works; proactively identify deficiencies and report or rectify as able.
