Job summary

Elliott Hudson College in Leeds is seeking a practical, reliable Assistant Site Manager to help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors. You will carry out basic maintenance, support site security, help with school events, and perform health and safety checks, including occasional driving of the school minibus when required.

Qualifications

Hold a full driving licence with D1 entitlement.
Carry out basic maintenance and repairs, including minor plumbing, unblocking drains and repairing furniture.
Hold a manual handling qualification or be willing to undertake training.
Have a proactive and flexible approach to work.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

Carrying out basic maintenance and repairs to keep school facilities in good order.
Support site security and safety checks to ensure a secure environment for students, staff and visitors.
Assist with school events and ensure preparations run smoothly.
Undertake health and safety checks and follow safeguarding procedures.
Drive the school minibus when required.
