Job summary

Small Heath Leadership Academy in Birmingham is seeking a skilled caretaker to help create and maintain a safe learning environment for students. You will ensure facilities are clean, safe and well maintained, with a focus on reliable problem solving and customer service to our school community.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in caretaking, basic building maintenance and record-keeping, and will prioritise tasks effectively while balancing competing demands.

Qualifications

• Experience of carrying out specialist building maintenance work within the reasonable capacity of a normal handyperson.
• Experience of keeping work records.
• The ability to undertake a range of caretaking and cleaning duties.
• The ability to identify work priorities and manage own workload, whilst ensuring that lower priority work is kept up to date.
