Job summary

Small Heath Leadership Academy in Birmingham is seeking a highly organized caretaker to help create, maintain and manage a safe learning environment for our young people. You will ensure facilities are clean, safe and well maintained and provide excellent customer service to our community.

The successful candidate will be a committed team player with strong organisational and technical skills, able to problem solve and manage workload effectively within a school setting.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out specialist building maintenance work within the reasonable capacity of a normal handyperson.
• Experience keeping work records.
• Ability to undertake a range of caretaking and cleaning duties.
• Ability to identify work priorities and manage own workload, ensuring lower priority work is kept up to date.

Small Heath Leadership Academy is a secondary school in Birmingham. We joined Star Academies in 2018 and, like all Star schools, we have a leadership specialism.
