Job summary

Lift Noel Park is seeking a hands-on School Facilities Manager in London to ensure the site is clean, secure and well-maintained so staff and pupils can focus on teaching and learning. You will oversee minor repairs, manage contractors, and act as a keyholder for daily opening/closing and emergencies.

The role requires attention to detail, practical DIY skills, and strong time management to coordinate planned works and safety checks across the site.

Qualifications

• GCSE level 2 in Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Background in premises/building management.
• Knowledge of security systems and COSHH/health and safety.
• Ability to perform general repairs and heavy lifting.
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Keep premises clean, tidy and litter-free.
• Carry out minor repairs and maintenance to fixtures, fittings and furniture.
• Open and close the school daily; act as principal keyholder.
• Oversee contractors to ensure safe, effective works.
• Complete daily and weekly statutory checks.
• Ensure health and safety and safeguarding procedures are followed.
