Job summary

Coventry City Council is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the management of St Christopher Primary School’s site in Coventry. The role combines hands-on repairs with responsibility for premises compliance, safety, budgets, and contractor management, with flexible hours across term-time or all year options.

You will oversee site services and cleaning, recruit a part-time Site Services Officer, and collaborate with the Headteacher and governors on improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as Facilities Manager or similar role is preferred.
• Ready to take on wider responsibility across site services and compliance.
• Able to manage budgets, contractors and school cleaning staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure premises compliance, health and safety requirements, and budget adherence.
