Job summary

Oyster Park Primary Academy, Castleford, is seeking a committed and flexible cleaning assistant to join our facilities team. You will provide efficient cleaning support to the academy, helping maintain a safe, tidy building and surroundings.

You will work both independently and as part of a team, follow rotas, and take pride in a methodical, organised approach. Castleford Trust supports staff development and wellbeing with a positive, collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide an efficient and effective cleaning support to the Academy, including ensuring that the security and general appearance of the building and surroundings are maintained to required standards.
• Work individually and as part of a team to perform a variety of regular and one-off cleaning tasks as directed by your supervisor/line manager.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in accordance with specified rotas.
