Job summary

Tempest Resourcing Limited is seeking a reliable Facilities Assistant for a welcoming primary school. The role involves hands-on support to maintain a safe, secure environment for pupils and staff, with duties around day-to-day site operations.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 6:30pm, ASAP start for a two-week assignment. DBS clearance is preferred or optional if willing to obtain, with references from recent employment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a facilities, caretaker, site assistant, or maintenance role.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Available references covering recent employment
• Good practical skills and a proactive approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations of the school site to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for pupils and staff.
• Support site maintenance tasks and routine checks as part of a hands-on facilities team.
• Contribute to keeping the building secure and well-presented for daily activities.
