Job summary

Roedean School in Brighton is seeking an Examination Invigilator starting from November 2026. You will help supervise examinations, ensuring compliance with exam board rules and assisting in the main hall as well as in smaller rooms as needed.

The role requires working hours 8.30am–5.30pm, Monday–Friday during the Summer Exam Period (about 6 weeks) with potential additional hours for internal exams, and includes safeguarding duties and DBS checks.

Qualifications

• Assist during examination periods and maintain calm, orderly environments.
• Willingness to undergo DBS checks and safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist during exam periods in the main Examination Hall and smaller rooms.
• Act as reader/scribe where required and ensure exams comply with board rules.
