Job summary

Roedean seeks an Examination Invigilator to support exam periods at its cliff-top campus. You will work in the main Examination Hall, ensuring examinations follow the boards’ rules and assisting in smaller rooms as needed.

Duties may include acting as reader or scribe for candidates with specific needs. The role runs during Summer Exam Period (roughly 6 weeks) and for internal exams in November and January, with hours 8.30am–5.30pm (one hour unpaid lunch).

Responsibilities

• Assist during exam periods in the main Examination Hall to ensure rules are followed.
• Invigilate internal exams; manage candidate behavior and paperwork as required.
• Provide reader/scribe support for candidates with physical or learning difficulties where feasible.
