Job summary

Roedean School is seeking an Examination Invigilator to support the smooth running of exams for girls aged 11-18. You will work in the main Examination Hall and assist in smaller rooms, acting as a reader or scribe when needed. DBS checks and safeguarding adherence are essential.

The role involves supervising during Summer Examinations (8:30am-5:30pm, Mon-Fri, approx. 6 weeks) and internal exams in November and January, with potential hours outside these times.

Qualifications

• Diligence during exams and ability to maintain quiet, orderly environments.
• Willingness to assist candidates with reading or scribing if required.
• DBS check and safeguarding declarations are required.

Responsibilities

• Invigilate examinations in the main hall and in smaller rooms.
• Ensure examinations follow Examination Board rules and procedures.
• Cover hours 8:30am–5:30pm during the Summer Exams and additional sessions in November and January.
