Job summary

St Edward's School is seeking a reliable Domestic Assistant to join our caring staff. You will help maintain cleanliness across classrooms, offices, kitchens and communal areas, supporting pupils and colleagues with a professional and respectful approach.

Contract is permanent, term time plus two weeks over holidays (28 hours/week). Shifts are 12:00–18:00 (Mon–Thu) and 12:00–16:00 on Friday; salary up to £17,339.14, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning or domestic duties in school, care, hospitality or similar.
• Understands cleanliness, hygiene, and safe working practices.
• Committed to safeguarding and welfare of children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the school and facilities.
• Support lunchtime service by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas remain clean and hygienic.
