Job summary

North Lanarkshire Council is advertising a part-time Dining Room Assistant post based in Wishaw. The role will involve supervising children during meal times in the dining hall and other areas, ensuring safety and welfare in line with council policies.

You will also be responsible for cleaning tables and maintaining a tidy dining area. The post requires PVG scheme membership prior to starting and a punctual, reliable individual with good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children in a school situation or voluntary capacity is desirable.
• You will be punctual, reliable, and have a basic knowledge of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ability to work under instruction of the Head Teacher and as part of a school team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during meal times in the dining hall or other areas of the school.
• Assist with welfare and promote positive conduct in line with Council policy and procedures.
