Job summary

Holroyd Howe is recruiting a Front of House Assistant at Feltonfleet School, Cobham, UK. The role supports day-to-day food service delivery, ensuring high-quality meals for pupils, staff and visitors with attention to detail and excellent service.

This term-time only position (40 weeks) offers a supportive team, full training, and opportunities for progression. You will join a leading contractor delivering tailored catering to independent schools.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract or high-volume catering.
• Customer-focused with a can-do attitude.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation, service, and presentation of food to a high standard.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen and service areas.
• Assist with food labelling, temperature checks, and allergen controls.
• Provide excellent customer service to pupils, staff, and visitors.
• Set up and clear service areas, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Follow all food safety, health & safety, and safeguarding procedures.
• Contribute to hospitality events and occasional out-of-hours functions.
• Accountability for following and championing allergen controls.
