Job summary

Tayside Contracts is seeking a School Crossing Patroller to help children cross roads safely to and from school. You will direct traffic at crossing points and operate warning signs, ensuring pedestrians are protected each day.

Job description

This School Crossing Patroller post sits with Tayside Contracts, the shared service that delivers work for Angus, Dundee City and Perth & Kinross councils. The work is about getting pupils and other pedestrians safely across roads to and from school, directing traffic at crossing points and putting out hazard warning signs. It is an outdoor role carried out in all weather, and it depends on spotting and hearing traffic danger from every direction.
