Perryfields Academy in Oldbury is seeking a dedicated Cover Manager to lead the daily whole-school cover programme, ensuring educational continuity and high behavior standards. You will schedule cover, manage Cover Supervisors, and liaise with external supply agencies.

The role requires strong organizational, communications, and safeguarding commitments, with DBS enhanced checks and reliable, calm handling of pressure in a busy school environment.

Qualificações

• GCSE Grade C/4+ in English and Maths (or equivalent).
• Excellent organizational, administrative, and ICT skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and remain calm under pressure.
• Strong communication, discretion, and safeguarding commitment.

Responsabilidades

• Daily Cover Scheduling: Plan and distribute whole-school cover schedules using Arbor (MIS), managing both planned and short-notice absences.
• Agency & Onboarding Management: Coordinate with supply agencies, track spend, verify timesheets, and ensure safeguarding compliance and ICT access for temporary staff.
• Team Leadership: Line-manage, deploy, and support the Cover Supervisor team.
• Classroom Supervision: Supervise classes when required, deliver set work, manage behaviour, and complete registers.
• Whole-School Duties: Assist with break/lunch duties, assemblies, and general operational support.
