Place Partnership is seeking a proactive Cover Manager for Wath Academy to oversee staff absence coordination and daily cover arrangements, ensuring smooth day-to-day operation. The role involves managing the Cover Supervision Team and coordinating supply staff to minimise disruption to learning.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing and coordinating staff or resources within a busy working environment.
• Demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and respond effectively to changing circumstances.
• Be a confident and proactive problem-solver, able to make sound decisions under pressure to ensure the smooth running of the Academy.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues, external agencies and other stakeholders.
• Have experience of leading and motivating a team, promoting high standards of performance and professionalism.
• Be confident using management information systems and maintaining accurate records, with excellent attention to detail.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality and the welfare of young people.
• Be flexible, resilient and adaptable, with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiative.
