Job summary

Witherslack Group is looking for a school cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals for pupils, staff and visitors. You will join a primary role in the heart of the school, working Monday to Friday with a 32.5-hour week to cover holidays.

You will ensure meals meet food safety regulations and nutritional standards, while supervising a team and building relationships with staff and pupils.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Food Safety in Catering (or equivalent).
• Ability to plan menus and manage nutritional standards.
• Experience budgeting for each meal and ordering in bulk.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school meets food hygiene regulations and nutritional standards.
