Job summary

Young Foundations Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Cook/Housekeeper for Mortimer School. You will start your day by cooking and finish with housekeeping duties, ensuring meals meet dietary requirements and are prepared and served to the required standards.

You will also manage stock, assist with packing meals for transport, maintain kitchen cleanliness and records, and follow COSHH and safety regulations in a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals, accommodating dietary requirements and following menus.
• Pack meals for transport to other locations where appropriate.
• Control the servery, washing up, and setting up/clearing away equipment and tables.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding area; ensure hygiene standards.
• Receive and store goods, manage stock, and report discrepancies.
• Follow COSHH guidelines and keep records of temperatures, cleaning rotas, and stock levels.
