Job summary

Saltford CofE Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Cook to join our catering team, supporting the Catering Manager and delivering a high-quality service for students, staff and visitors. You will work 30 hours per week, 8:00am–2:00pm, Monday to Friday, in a role focused on food safety, hygiene and excellent customer service.

We value team players who are reliable, flexible and able to work under pressure to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Has previous catering experience, ideally within a school or college environment.
• Holds a current Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and has a good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Has a genuine interest in food and providing a high-quality service to students, staff and visitors.
• Is enthusiastic, reliable and flexible, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Can work efficiently under pressure, prioritise their workload and maintain high standards at all times.

Job description

Saltford School is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Cook to join our catering team. This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in providing a high-quality catering service for students, staff and visitors, while supporting the Catering Manager with the day-to‑to day running of the catering operation.
