Job summary
Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a part-time School and Community Health Facilitator in Gloucester city. The role is 18 hours per week over 3 days during term time, including Tuesday, to cover maternity leave.
You will work with the School Nursing team to run National Child Measurement Programme and vision screening, provide parenting support, and manage delegated packages of care. NHS benefits apply and training is provided.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience.
- Experience delivering healthcare within the community setting.
- Experience working with school-aged children.
- Experience entering and extracting data from a clinical system.
- Experience safeguarding children.
Responsibilities
- Organise and deliver National Child Measurement Programme and vision screening.
- Facilitate health promotion and parenting support in schools.
- Maintain accurate health records and complete health data in the system.
- Work autonomously or with a team to support school nursing in Gloucester city.
