Job summary

Always Responsive Commercial Cleaning is seeking a reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team at a school site in Hereford. You will maintain a clean, safe, hygienic environment for staff and pupils, following schedules and reporting concerns.

A fully enhanced DBS check is required. The role includes cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets and common areas, using cleaning equipment safely, and replenishing supplies. 15 hours per week, term-time pattern.

• Operating cleaning equipment and machinery where required
• Following cleaning schedules and instructions
• Ensuring cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly
• Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential

Working Pattern

This is a term-time position, working 38 weeks per year plus 5 additional deep cleaning weeks during school holiday periods.

Pay

£13.45 per hour.

This role is based on term-time working (38 weeks) plus 5 deep cleaning weeks. Pay is calculated based on these working weeks and paid in equal monthly instalments across 12 months.
