Job summary

Claires Court seeks an experienced Domestic Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day cleaning operation across our Maidenhead sites. You will lead the Domestic team, ensuring schedules are followed, quality checks are completed, and safety procedures are upheld.

You will also train and develop staff, organise deep cleans during holidays, and manage stock of cleaning materials and chemicals in compliance with COSHH and health & safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in a cleaning supervisory or team leader role.
• Experience managing or supporting a cleaning team.
• Knowledge of COSHH and health & safety procedures.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
• Positive approach with the ability to motivate and support others.
• Commitment to safeguarding and maintaining a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the Domestic Cleaning team to maintain high standards.
• Carry out cleaning duties and quality checks.
• Monitor cleaning schedules and ensure areas are completed as required.
• Train and develop team members.
• Organise deep cleaning during school holidays.
• Manage cleaning materials, equipment, stock levels, and ordering.
• Ensure safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment in line with COSHH.
• Complete relevant records and documentation.
• Report hazards and maintenance issues promptly.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture across the department.
• Collaborate with school teams for events and operations.
