Job summary

A24 Group Limited is recruiting cleaning staff for a school-based role in Enfield, Middlesex. The position is temporary for 6 months, with potential extension based on performance and school needs.

Hours are Monday to Friday with split shifts from 11:30-13:30 and 15:00-18:00, about 4.5 hours per day, with immediate start. You will maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the school site, ensuring a safe, presentable environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential - on-site guidance provided.
• A satisfactory DBS check will be required; support available if not held.
• Physically capable of cleaning duties including bending, lifting, and standing for periods.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitising corridors, communal areas, toilets, and classrooms.
• Emptying bins and replenishing consumables (soap, paper towels, etc.).
• Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or health & safety concerns to site management.
• Following COSHH guidelines and safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Working to instructions from on-site cleaning supervisors and adapting to daily priorities.
• Maintaining a professional, respectful presence in an environment with children present.
