Job summary

Tempest Resourcing Limited is recruiting a School Cleaner to join a friendly school team in Greater London. You will help maintain a safe, clean environment for students and staff, following health and safety procedures and using standard cleaning equipment.

We value reliability, punctuality and the ability to work well within a team. Prior cleaning experience is preferred but training will be provided, and the role may require Enhanced DBS clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning preferred; training will be provided.
• Physically fit to move furniture, bins and cleaning equipment.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Good awareness of health and safety procedures for cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and polish throughout the school.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers when required.
• Empty bins and maintain clean toilets and shower facilities.
• Report hazards or maintenance issues to the site team.
• Assist with deep cleaning during holidays, including moving furniture and washing surfaces.
