School Cleaner with Enhanced DBS – Part-Time Afternoons

Job summary

Stafflex are looking to recruit part-time school cleaners for several schools in Huddersfield. This role covers the full cleaning of classrooms, corridors, halls, toilets and offices, using proper cleaning procedures and COSHH awareness. DBS is required on the update service, with shifts typically 2pm–7pm (2–4 hours), paying £12.71–£13.00 per hour.

Immediate start available for suitable candidates. All applicants must hold an Enhanced DBS and provide 2 references; overseas police check if

Qualifications

• Knowledge / understanding of COSHH is advantageous.
• Previous work experience cleaning is required.
• This is physical work and time restricted so does require the successful candidate to have a good level of fitness, ability to work under little supervision using own initiative and be able to work fast paced whilst still ensuring work is carried out to a satisfactory standard.

Responsibilities

• Full cleaning of school including classrooms, hallways, halls, toilets, offices and any public area.
• Mopping, Vacuuming, sanitising, sweeping, dusting.
• Emptying bins.
• Use of any industrial cleaning equipment e.g. carpet cleaner (training can be given).
