Job summary

Carmarthenshire County Council is hiring a school cleaner in Carmarthen. You will perform dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, waste disposal, and restocking consumables while following health and safety rules. A positive attitude, flexibility to cover various cleaning tasks, and a willingness to learn are important.

Basic Welsh knowledge is requested; DBS enhanced check will be carried out. The role is part-time (7 hours 30 minutes) with a salary of £26,639 per year, pro-rata for term-time

Qualifications

• Duties include dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and emptying waste bins.
• Follow health and safety guidance when using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Welsh language knowledge at Level 1 is requested.
