Job summary

South Lanarkshire Council is hiring for three permanent part-time cleaning posts at Calderglen High School, East Kilbride. The role is 15 hours per week during term time, with shifts including early mornings and late afternoons. The hourly rate is £13.80, and you will report to the Cleaning Supervisor.

The position requires reliability, ability to work independently, and willingness to join PVG where applicable. Applications closing on 10 November 2026.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning of floors, furniture, fixtures and fittings as per schedule.
• Report to Cleaning Supervisor and assist with practical tasks (buffing machines).
• Ensure building security and act as key-holder as required.
• Maintain standards in line with COSHH regulations and report issues.
