Job summary

East Renfrewshire Council is seeking a part-time Cleaner for Busby Primary School. The role is term-time only, 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 15:30–18:30, with a pro rata annual salary of £9,243–£9,772.

You will perform cleaning duties across the premises, including toilets, ensuring a hygienic environment. Prior cleaning experience is welcomed but a willingness to learn is also considered. Applicants must attend interviews in person.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience preferred but candidates with a willingness to learn will be considered.
• Commitment to working within term-time schedule and school environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties including washing, emptying litter bins, sweeping, dusting and vacuum cleaning.
• Maintain toilets and other areas in a clean, hygienic condition; follow council policies and report maintenance issues.
