Job summary

Cranford Park Academy is seeking a permanent cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness across the school site. The role operates term-time, 7.5 hours weekly over 41 weeks, on an afternoon shift starting at 15:15. A cleaning background is essential and an enhanced DBS check with barred list is required.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience is essential.
• Enhanced DBS check including the barred list required.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• High standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Good general health and fitness.
• Enthusiasm and passion for the role.
• Experience of working in a school (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school.
• Clean designated areas of the school.
• Be responsible for cleaning allocated areas, and cover on a rota when colleagues are absent.
• Vary cleaning duties during school closure as required.
