Job summary

Berry Recruitment is hiring School Cleaning Assistants for Oldham, offering flexible part-time hours Monday to Friday after school. You’ll help keep classrooms and common areas clean, report issues to management, and replenish supplies. Immediate start available with on-the-job training.

Enhanced DBS clearance and completion of Food Hygiene, Allergen Awareness, Safeguarding and KCSIE training are required (we can help). This is a temporary, flexible role with no full-time permanent positions.

Qualifications

• DBS clearance required or eligible for clearance.
• Completion of Food Hygiene, Allergen Awareness, Safeguarding and KCSIE training.

• Keep classrooms and common areas clean by sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.

School Cleaning Assistants Needed in Oldham – Flexible Hours!

Berry Recruitment is hiring temporary School Cleaning Staff for schools in Oldham. If you're available for a few hours, this is a great opportunity for you!

Hours: Monday to Friday 2.30pm - 5.30pm (with flexibility)

What You’ll Do

• Keeping the school clean and safe by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing classrooms and common areas
• Report any damages or issues to management
• Check and replenish cleaning supplies
• Using cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across the school

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS clearance (we can help you obtain this for £51)
• Completion of online training for Food Hygiene, Allergen Awareness, Safeguarding, and KCSIE (£10)
