Job summary

Berry Recruitment is seeking School Cleaning Staff to join our temporary team in Sale. If you’re available in the afternoon, this role offers flexible hours and a friendly school environment.

You’ll keep classrooms and common areas clean, report issues, and help ensure high hygiene standards. DBS clearance is required or we can assist with obtaining it for a small fee. Training in Food Hygiene, Allergen Awareness, Safeguarding, and KCSIE is also available online.

Qualifications

• DBS clearance required (we can help) for £51.
• Completion of online training for Food Hygiene, Allergen Awareness, Safeguarding and KCSIE (£10).

Responsibilities

• Keep the school clean by sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing classrooms and common areas.
• Report damages or issues to management.
• Check and replenish cleaning supplies.
• Use cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across the school.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 3pm - 6pm or 4pm - 7pm (with flexibility)

What You’ll Do

• Keeping the school clean and safe by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing classrooms and common areas
• Report any damages or issues to management
• Check and replenish cleaning supplies
• Using cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across the school
