Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in Derby area is seeking a part-time Cleaner to deliver routine cleaning at Derby Schools including Chesterfield, Old Tupton, and Tupton Hall School. The role covers 15 hours per week under a permanent contract.

You will follow Mitie's quality, safety, and environmental policies, work with a team, and complete all tasks to the required SLA standards. Training is provided, and a DBS check is required for safeguarding.

• Cleaning experience is preferred, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine planned and periodic cleaning to high standards.
• Work within a team and under their own initiative.
• Adhere to Mitie Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies.
• Maintain the designated area to an agreed level of cleanliness per contract/SLA.
• Ensure equipment is clean, well maintained and safe to use.
• Report maintenance requirements identified during cleaning tasks.
• Maintain security and follow lost property procedures.
• Have knowledge of the designated cleaning area and work specifications.
