Job summary

Abraham Moss Community School in Manchester is seeking an enthusiastic cleaner to join the site team. This part-time role covers after-school hours from 3:15 to 6:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, with flexibility in school holidays.

You will help maintain high cleaning standards across classrooms and common areas, work safely under health and safety policies, and contribute to a secure, welcoming learning environment for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cleaner or in a school environment is preferred.
• Demonstrates reliability and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexible to cover term-time and school holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties to high standards in classrooms and communal areas.
• Follow health and safety policies and secure building access when required.
• Support energy conservation and maintain confidentiality of information.
