Job summary

Booker Park Community School is seeking a reliable School Cleaner to maintain a safe, hygienic environment for learners. You will clean classrooms, offices, corridors and toilets using a range of cleaning equipment and materials.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 2.5 hours per day, 39 weeks per year. Visits to the school are welcome; contact Lynne Worley (HR Officer) for more information. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and includes safeguarding checks.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of hygiene.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning duties across classrooms, offices, corridors and toilets.
• Sweep, Hoover, mop, dust and empty bins; manage cleaning supplies.
• Undertake specialist cleaning tasks during holidays.
• Report maintenance or health & safety issues.
