Job summary

Milton School is seeking a diligent cleaner for a part-time position (~12.5 hours per week) across 39 weeks. You will maintain cleanliness across the building including residential units, classrooms, and staff areas to provide a safe environment for pupils and staff.

The role may involve opening the school on occasion. We value reliability, teamwork and a proactive approach, with enhanced DBS clearance required for successful applicants.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a team, preferably in a cleaning role.
• Ability to work using own initiative, manage own workload within timescales
• Self-motivation with a flexible approach to their role and responsibilities
• Emotional resilience to deal with challenging situations, including challenging behaviours and attitudes from pupils.
• An eye for detail and methodical in your approach
