Afternoon School Cleaner – Aurora Eccles and White House Schools, Quidenham, Norfolk

Hours: 4 hours daily, Monday to Friday, 2pm - 6pm.

Contract Type: Permanent hours per week, term time only plus 2 weeks.

Schools: Aurora White House School and Aurora Eccles School

We’re currently looking for a part-time Cleaner to join our housekeeping team. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school.

Part of the Aurora Group, Aurora Eccles and White House Schools in Quidenham, Norwich, provide day placements for students aged 6 years and above, primarily with communication and interaction difficulties or specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia. Some students may be on the autistic spectrum or have anxieties that create barriers to learning.

Key Duties:

• Dusting and polishing
• Maintaining clean and sanitary kitchen areas
• Vacuuming and washing floors
• Tidying up rooms
• Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed
• Reporting necessary repairs
• Keeping bathrooms stocked and clean
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste

Knowledge, skills, and experience:

• Understanding of health and safety legislation or willingness to learn
• Ongoing training will be provided

Due to the school’s location, candidates must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a vehicle.
