Job summary

Norton Hill School in Midsomer Norton, part of the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership, is hiring a School Cleaner to join our team. This permanent, all-year-round role is 15 hours per week, with after-school hours 3:30pm–6:30pm and flexibility for holiday hours when the school is open.

The successful candidate will perform a range of cleaning duties, maintain safety practices, and complete required documentation and training as part of a collaborative school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or janitorial work preferred.
• Ability to follow health and safety guidelines and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties across all designated areas as directed.
• Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are used safely and properly.
• Complete required records and online training as required.
• Adhere to health, safety and security regulations at all times.
