Job summary

The Orchard is seeking a School Cleaner to join our dedicated support team at Orchard Grove Primary School in Taunton. You will help maintain a safe and clean environment for learners by delivering high standards of cleanliness and basic site maintenance.

The role involves cleaning classrooms and common areas, managing cleaning supplies, and working with the site team to uphold security policies and day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Experience of undertaking general cleaning duties.
• Ability to manage time effectively to carry out day-to-day operations.
• Awareness of the relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working around children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness to a high standard across classrooms and site.
• Support security of the school site and dress code policies as required.

An opportunity has arisen at Orchard Grove Primary School for a School Cleaner to join our team, taking pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our learners by keeping cleanliness to a high standard and undertaking necessary procedures to assist with day-to-day maintenance., As part of our wider school team, you will have responsibility for the overall cleanliness and security of the school classrooms and site, having awareness of security policies, maintaining supplies of cleaning materials, and working with other members of the site team to keep the site to a standard expected by leadership and management.
