eTeach UK Limited is seeking a School Cleaner for Danesfield School in Williton. The role involves carrying out cleaning tasks to a high standard across designated areas, using appropriate equipment, under the direction of the caretaker.

Hours are 20 per week, Monday to Friday, plus inset days and holiday periods as directed. Term-time only staff receive benefits and a local government pension scheme. The position offers a supportive environment within a UK school setting.

Responsabilités

• Carry out cleaning tasks as directed by the caretaker.
• Use cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and carpet cleaners.
• Handle cleaning materials safely and in accordance with procedures.
• Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated areas.
• Mop floors and spot-clean carpets as required.
• Dust and wipe furniture, ledges, and surfaces.
• Replenish consumables like soap and toilet rolls.
• Participate in special cleaning programmes as directed.

Working a total of 41 weeks per year.Salary: Grade 1, Scale Point Range 3-4 . £13.28 - £13.48 per hour (full time equivalent £25614 - £26016 per annum) Actual salary £12532 - £12729.Brief explanation of the role: To fulfil a schedule of cleaning tasks, ensuring a high standard of cleaning in designated locations, using appropriate equipment.

The main duties and responsibilities are:

• To carry out all tasks as directed by the caretaker, ensuring that the required standards and quality levels are maintained.
• To correctly use mechanical cleaning equipment ie. Floor buffer, rota wash and industrial carpet cleaner.
• To correctly handle and use cleaning materials in accordance with recommended procedures.
• To emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated waste compound.
• To mop floors either dry or wet.
• To Vacuum and "spot" clean carpeted areas.
• To dust, damp wipe, wash or polish furniture, ledges, window sills, external surfaces of cupboards/lockers, radiators, shelves and fittings.
• To replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls) as required.
• To undertake special cleaning programmes as directed to include wall washing or inside window pane cleaning.
• Cleaners employed in food technology areas are required to clean cookers and work surface areas.
