Job summary

St. Andrew’s School is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our friendly cleaning team. This part-time, term-time only role covers 5–7pm with 10 hours per week and a fixed annual equivalent of about £5,926.16 based on £13.53 per hour.

Experience is welcome but not essential; the right attitude and willingness to learn matter most. Overtime is paid for the late August deep clean, with payroll monthly across the year.

School Cleaner

Permanent, Part Time, Term Time Only, 10 hours per week, 5 - 7pm

FTE 24691.00 (actual £5,926.16) (based on an hourly rate of £13.53)

St. Andrew’s School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cleaner to join our friendly and professional cleaning team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and welcoming environment where high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are valued and maintained.

What We Offer:

• Term-time only hours (37.2 weeks per year: term time plus 6 days)

• Overtime paid for additional 2-week deep clean in late August

Cleaning duties are assigned on a rota basis by the Housekeeper and may vary according to the school’s needs.
